About This Project
Hi, I'm Spencer Killian. The idea of this website has been coming together for quite some time, and I'm excited to share it with you. I'm a Latter-day Saint, husband, father, and software developer who loves to learn—if only I could remember everything I learn!
When AI came around, I wanted to find a way to use it for good. All tools can be used for good or bad, and I wanted to use my talents and knowledge of AI for positive purposes. On Monday, January 26th, I was thinking about how I wanted all my learning resources in one place.
I've loved learning more about literary structures in ancient scriptures and wanted a way to document and share them—this has really enhanced my scripture study. Google's NotebookLM and Gemini provide rich tools for deeper learning and sharing. This has enhanced my Come Follow Me study tremendously.
In about one week's time, using AI-assisted coding, I created this website. It's a place for me to share literary structures I find and to provide resources for richer Come Follow Me study for individuals and families. The AI content isn't perfect, but I've found it to be an engaging learning tool.
My plan is to add to this over time, so check back weekly for new literary structures and new resources for the current Come Follow Me lessons. This is one person's passion project, but if you'd like a structure added or have any resources you'd like included, just shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do to incorporate it.
Above all, I am grateful for loving Heavenly Parents, for the gifts and talents I have been blessed with, and for the means by which to share them. My hope is that as we study and learn together, we can look for and find Jesus Christ in the pages of the holy scriptures. For truly, it is only in and through Jesus Christ that we can all return to live with our Heavenly Parents again.
